Not bad, but not great either.

First, the good things: There aren't many resources out there for Jordanian Arabic and this one provides some useful vocabulary and phrases. The Bad: There are too many mistakes. The meanings are not always correct. Also, there is no context given to understand how to use the vocabulary. This will help if you just want to learn some words here and there, but don't think that you will be a better Arabic speaker after studying it... you won't.

Great Levantine Book

This book is great for learning the Jordanian niche of the Levantine dialect. The really nice thing is that a lot of these words are also used in other dialects of the levant.

It is simple, easy to follow and good for topical reference. The CD that comes with it is great; I can even listen to it in the car.

Good book but there are quite a few mistakes

We had to buy this book for school. It was frustrating because there were a lot of errors. For some that would be a good thing because you learn but trying to figure out the error from other sources. When you're under a deadline to get something turned in, it's not a good thing. There were also referenced files that were missing or found in a folder from a later chapter. Overall it's a great learning tool. All the files they provide on the DVD are great for learning. They provide a before and after for each lesson to make it easier to figure out what you did wrong. It's a really great reference book as well. I find myself referencing quite a bit and I will continue to use it after I'm finished my class.

A good book but awkwardly written

This book does not teach you 3ds Max but gives a good reference of the features with demo projects.
I felt the book was written backwards with animation first and building objects and texturing in different order. I am taking an online course on 3ds Max and the course first start with interface, primitives, modifiers, and then texturing. The animation portion was mentioned later after you have the knowledge on how to create something. This book needs its chapters to be rearrange a bit to make things flow more logically--you shouldn't have to access further back into the book to know how to texture something.
Maybe I should have given this book a higher rating but part of a good book should be on the flow of things.

Good Light Reading

I bought this book with the hopes it would have a strong few chapters on rigging, creating controllers, and skinning characters, but I've found those characters it to be extremely generalized. On the brighter side the rest of the content in this book seems solid from what I've thumbed through.

About the Author
Smith Wigglesworth (1859–1947) was born in England in 1859. Immediately after his conversion as a boy, he had a concern for the salvation of others and won people to Christ, including his mother. He became a plumber by trade, yet he continued to devote himself to winning many people to Christ on an individual basis. In 1882, he married Polly Featherstone, a vivacious young woman who loved God and had a gift of preaching and evangelism. It was she who taught him to read and who became his closest confidant and strongest supporter. They both had compassion for the poor and needy in their community, and they opened a mission, at which Polly preached. Significantly, people were miraculously healed when Wigglesworth prayed for them.

In 1907, Wigglesworth's circumstances changed dramatically when, at the age of forty–eight, he was baptized in the Holy Spirit. Suddenly, he had a new power that enabled him to preach, and even his wife was amazed at the transformation. This was the beginning of what became a worldwide evangelistic and healing ministry that reached thousands. He eventually ministered in the United States, Australia, South Africa, and all over Europe. His ministry extended to the time of his death in 1947.

This book reveals the privilages the believer has in Christ Jesus; the power that is available through the Holy Spirit to do exceedingly and abundantly more than we could ever hope for. Wigglesworth shows the believer how to secure G-d's favor on their life, obtain freedeom from sin, practice the presence of
G-d, take authority over the enemy, and experience the supernatural.
This book is a wonderful faith builder, simply written, and very positive. Only believe, all things are possible.

The Paraclete, which is translated as "Advocate" or "Comforter," is the guiding force that shapes John's Gospel vision of Jesus. This Comforter is the Holy Spirit which enables one to heal, it's not Smith Wigglesworth who heals, but the Holy Spirit working through Smith Wigglesworth. Finally we get Irish's story!

Finally we get a book (even if it's a novella) for Irish (Arden). I have been fascinated with his character from the beginning of the series and was so happy to have him find the woman for him!

In this short, yet sweet novella, we meet Valentina (Tina) who just moved to town after escaping an abusive relationship. She just wants to find herself and live her life without her ex finding her. She didn't want a relationship, and she didn't expect to meet Arden. With Arden being relentless in his pursuit for Tina she finally agrees to dinner with him.

Their first date had me laughing, it was so unlike anything you would expect, and I felt bad for Tina, but you could immediately see the connection these two characters have. Sure, Arden is a big bad biker, and Tina is timid and trying to find herself, but together they just work. I loved seeing how protective Arden was over Tina, and he didn't even know her full story yet. When he falls, he falls hard, and you see that with how he treats Tina.

Things are amazing for these two, and Arden is perfect and loving, and takes care of her, and I loved seeing this sweet side to him. When her ex shows back up and Tina comes clean about everything that's related to Darren, I knew Arden was going to flip, and he did, but with the help of the others in the MC (specifically the woman) he was able to see that they couldn't handle the situation the way he wanted.

Seeing Tina bond with Jess (and not realizing how she was connected) was awesome. She really didn't have many people in her life, and Jess and the other girls took her in and made her feel like family. I love all the girls in this series, and seeing them embrace Tina was awesome. They are their own little family and truly take care of one another.

This book was short, sweet, and perfect for Irish (Arden). I wish it would have been longer, as he's an amazing character, but I understand why it wasn't. Arden doesn't do drama, and when he knows what he wants, he goes after it, and doesn't let anything stop him. So unlike the books in this series, this novella was for the most part drama free, and we got to see Irish fall in love. I am not happy with him deciding to keep a secret at the end of this story, and I have a feeling it is going to come back and bite him in future installments of this series, but I'm glad he did what he did to keep Tina safe.

If you haven't read the Wind Dragons MC series yet by Chantal Fernando, you are definitely missing out. Each book is a stand alone full of hot alpha biker men, and watching them find the women that bring them to their knees. I highly suggest this novella for fans of the series, for MC series fans, and for anyone looking for an amazing short read!

Dirty Ride

Dirty Ride is my first book by Chantal Fernando so I wasn't quite sure what to expect going into it. I'm a lover of MC romances, especially Kristen Ashley and Joanna Wylde's so I am always hesitant starting one by an unknown to me author.

Overall, I really enjoyed the story. I wasn't aware that I had missed the other three books in the series because Amazon didn't note the series number. My fault...not Fernando's. However, I will say the story felt complete and the only thing I really felt as if I was missing was the secondary character's backstory. I really liked Tina and Ardan (Irish) together. They were definitely an unlikely couple but they just FIT. Tina fled her abusive ex and landed in the arms of a sexy biker. Irish was sexy, bold, and commanding in a way that was completely opposite from her ex who was a controlling and abusive junkie (who ended up having an unexpected job). Irish blows into Tina's life and decides to stay. He quickly entrenches himself in her life and coaxes her to lower the barrier surrounding her heart. For a while Irish and Tina have it good until her ex comes slamming back into her life.

I'm going to confess her, I hated the ex. He was a bully with a badge and used his corrupt power to keep Tina under his finger. Consequently, the end of the story didn't bother me. However, it is also the end of the story that kept Dirty Ride from receiving four solid stars from me. Dirty Ride is a novella length book so naturally the pacing was expedited. The "I-love-yous" were uttered quickly and the climax of the story, the warehouse confrontation between Tina and her ex, developed and resolved itself just as quickly. Not having the history of the other books in the series I had nothing to compare Dirty Ride too. However, knowing romance fiction, I did feel as if I was somehow cheated by the ending which felt glossed over. The climax happened within a very few Kindle page clicks and then it was all over. And they lived happily ever...wait! Not yet! *Insert Epilogue* ... And the epilogue is what lost that half of star for me. The revelation laid down at the end of the epilogue was like a time-released bomb that blew the story off the rails. Was it intended to be a cliffhanger? Will the revelation come back to haunt Irish in the next book? Or was that really the end?!? I had too many questions and the story just ended, leaving a gaping hole in my satisfaction level.

So my final answer is that Dirty Ride was a nice installment in the series for those who followed it from the beginning. However, I wouldn't advise picking it up, several books in, as I did. I think you need to understand the club, which really was only on the fringes in Dirty Ride, and their motivations. Perhaps knowing that going into it would have cast a much different light on the ending for me. I am curious to see if my questions are answered in the next book so I'll keep an eye out for it.

For those familiar with the Wind Dragons MC series, Irish (or Ardan by his real name) is not a stranger to us. He's an intriguing dark alpha stallion, loyal to his brothers and those he loves. Keeps his private life just that. So i was excited to get a chance to be able to get to read his novella.
Valentina has escaped her abusive cop Husband, disappearing in the middle of the night, and finally settling in this little town where she feels she can be safe.
As soon and Irish sets his eye's on Valentina, well the games up for both of them. Poor Valentina doesn't stand a chance against Ardan's charm, wit and determination to get what he wants, which in this case is her !! Although the fact that he's hot, sexy and scrummylicious makes him easy to fall for and before long Valentina realises that not only has this man shattered all the walls she had surrounded herself with, he has shown her in a very short time, that love can be so different to what she was used to. This may have been a novella, but it packs the punch of a full novel.
I loved Tina and her willingness even though difficult to trust and even to think of loving again, she took the brave steps towards Irish, allowing herself to trust him
I was weak at the knee's with Ardan's determination, and the way he romanced Valentina, knowing when to push her and knowing when to step back and let her decide but at the same time letting her know, he was there to stay !! Hot steamy love, passionate sex, and even when they face obstacles they never falter !! Tis surely a love that every girl dreams off !! And trust me .. once you read this, Ardan will for sure major in some of those dreams !!! Deffo one not to miss out on especially when ya love a hot biker !!!!
